Answer the questions presented, and make sure that you go through all four screens (the numbers are on the top left side – click to the next one once the tutorial you are watching has finished). Once you have finished, read through Chapter 4.4: Genetic engineering and biotechnology in your textbook. Once you have gone through both, in your notes, outline the technique for gene transfer (or bacterial transformation). Include in your outline the role of plasmids, host cells (bacteria), restriction enzymes and DNA ligase.
